Blazer Ambassador Butane Refillable Torch Lighter, Black
The Blazer Ambassador refillable butane lighter has a piezoelectric ignition system to apply direct heat to an object, and can be used to light pipes, cigars, and cigarettes. The lighter houses a piezoelectric ignition system, which is based on a pressurized molecular reaction, and requires no electric connection. Piezoelectric energy occurs when the trigger is activated, releasing a small, spring-loaded internal hammer that strikes a crystal, producing a spark and resulting in gas flame ignition. The lighter has a flip-top cap for one-handed operation. The fuel-adjustment dial at the base of the lighter controls the flame length, which has a range of 0.75 to 2.0″. The flame has a maximum temperature of 2,500 degrees F and is wind-resistant to provide precise control. The 5.0 g gas capacity has a continuous burn time of approximately 20 minutes. The lighter is 8.1 cm high, 3.13 cm in width, and weighs 42 g. It has a Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)-certified safety mechanism. The lighter includes a black metal gift box.
